Yes. As long as you qualify for AAFMAA Membership and you’re between the ages of 35 and 64, you’re guaranteed coverage with no medical exam or health questions asked. To qualify for AAFMAA Membership, you or your spouse must have served in the U.S. military and you must live in a state where AAFMAA conducts business.* Additionally, you get lifetime access to the benefits of AAFMAA Membership, including Survivor Assistance Services, and your own online Digital Vault at no additional cost to you.

*In the following states/territories, AAFMAA is only able to issue policies to current servicemembers, military retirees, and their spouses: DC, MS, UT, and WI.

Exclusions and Limitations: Important: Death benefits are limited to 110% of total premiums paid in the first two policy years except for qualifying accidental deaths, in which case the death benefit is equal to the face amount.
