Sieff Studios is just part of the picture that Jesse Sieff and Jon Meadows created in service to Veterans. Together, they co-founded an event media production company called Creative Transitions to provide professional headshots, video interviews, and event media coverage to amplify the impact of corporate hiring and career development events. In November 2022, they established their flagship event, the Career Development Convention (CDC), which provides the transitioning military community with free professional branding, resume/LinkedIn reviews, coaching, education resources, networking, career opportunities, and much more.
Why serve Veterans? Sieff is a former Marine and was once part of “The Commandant’s Own” U.S Marine Drum & Bugle Corps. His time in and out of service allows him to see where assistance to the military community is needed and inspired him to fulfill some of those needs. Meadows, on the other hand, is a photographer and facial expression coach who helps his clients build and create connections. Combining their skills, they found a way not only give back to the military community, but also to help Veterans searching for jobs get a leg up.
Sarah Bumgardner, AAFMAA Director of Partnership and Member Engagement, spoke with Sieff and Meadows about how organizations and companies can find Veterans and military spouses who are looking for employment at the Career Development Convention, and how organizations looking to hire servicemembers, Veterans and military spouses participate in CDC.
