We are pleased to announce that AAFMAA has been distinguished once again as a Military Saves Savings Champion — the third time in consecutive years. The Savings Champion Award recognizes organizations that go above and beyond their call of duty to share the importance of financial savings with military families during the month of April for Military Saves Week.

“AAFMAA is honored to receive the Savings Champion Award for the third time, three years in a row. Since 1879, we have been helping military, Veterans and their families achieve their financial goals and protect their family. Financial savings are the most foundational step to protecting your family and pursuing financial independence,” said Jerry Quinn, Chief Operating Officer of AAFMAA and Colonel in the U. S. Army Reserve.

The Savings Champion Award is a national recognition. Hundreds of organizations around the world, including non-profits, military installations, and government agencies, participate in Military Saves Week each year, going the extra mile to help military families save money and assess their financial habits. Winners are selected by the Military Saves selection committee, comprised of staff and leadership in all of its program initiatives. The goal of participating organizations is to encourage the military community to make a commitment and savings plan through the Military Saves Pledge.
