Transitioning out of the military and wondering where you’ll go from here? AAFMAA and VetJobs have an answer: Wherever life takes you. Individually, we each provide the unique support transitioning members of the military and their families need to secure a great future — AAFMAA through financial tools and resources, VetJobs through career opportunities and training. Together, you can count on us to be there for you.
VetJobs began in 2004 as the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network when Deb Kloeppel, a successful entrepreneur and senior executive at American Airlines, realized military spouses needed better support for their career aspirations — particularly when they made a PCS move far from home. In 2010 the organization expanded to also support transitioning service members and veterans and since that time they have assisted with and verified over 72,000 military-affiliated job placements. Their team is standing by to help you develop your career path and maximize your earning potential.
AAFMAA’s story began in 1879 with the recognition that when military servicemembers made the ultimate sacrifice on the battlefield, the families they left behind required vital financial assistance. As the longest-standing, non-profit financial solutions provider exclusively serving military families, we continue to develop innovative products, services and additional resources that help keep families protected for life. Standing with VetJobs as part of our network of military connections, we look forward to ensuring that even more military families around the world will have the opportunity to keep their financial future secure.
