On April 30, 2021, access to VA benefits and services became available to Veterans and their families through the new portal on www.va.gov. This centralized location allows access to all VA benefits including health care, disability, education records, and many other VA benefits.
You may access the portal with your current My healtheVet account, your DS Logon account, or you may create a new ID.me account. The site is secure as it requires a two-factor authentication.
The original eBenefits site will remain functional until March 31, 2022, so veterans can complete claims they currently have in the system. After that, va.gov will be the sole source for accessing VA benefits, checking the status of a claim, and changing contact and direct deposit information.
