Lyne Babin
Manager, Member and Survivor Benefits
Lyne Babin has served as Manager of AAFMAA Member and Survivor Benefits since 2010. She has been with AAFMAA for over 20 years and has held a variety of positions within the Association, including member coordination, policy administration, and business analyst.
Lyne’s teams specialize in military benefits and entitlements, VA claims coordination and AAFMAA’s hallmark survivor benefits. Her teams also ensure survivor benefits and life insurance are accurately applied for and settled.
Lyne holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing and has over 35 years of experience in the life insurance industry.
Lyne and her husband Les have two adult children, two granddaughters and two puppies, Coco and Gi. They live in the Washington, D.C. area but enjoy spending time with their family at their property just outside of Richmond, V.A. and on Zoom visits with their family in Canada.
Lyne is a transplanted Canadian and a Military Spouse. Her husband, Les, served 32 years in The U.S. Army Band Pershing's Own at Fort Myer, Virginia. Their family did not experience the traditional military life, as her husband was permanently stationed in the Washington, D.C. area. Lyne’s passion for AAFMAA’s life insurance and services developed through the close work she does with AAFMAA Members.
